Parslow's Funeral.
'It's a great burden, Granville. Being holier than everybody else. But I enjoy it.' - Mr. Wilkinson, 'Well-Catered Funeral'.
Greetings. You don't know me. I'm Sam. I'm making a website. It's ever such fun. Really, you should give it a go. I'm not doing it through any particular love of the craft, mind. I just found that I had something to say, and there are billions of you out there.

Just a quick note to explain what I'm doing here. I'm a student of English literature and philosophy, and I'm the only twenty year old in the country yet to have seen a paycheque. My ambition is to become Bertie Wooster, but I'll have to either marry into it or earn it, and by Jove, that means working. Scriptwriting would be very nice if I had any talent. Perhaps it's the sort of thing you can develop a talent for. I might give that a try. It's an easy enough thing to research certainly: you watch the telly. And having something of a passion for literary analysis, I'm apt to watch television in precisely the same way. I refer to programmes as texts.

You don't get much in the way of proper literary analysis on television programmes on the net, so that's what I'm doing it. I intend to subject these texts to the sort of literary analysis that one doesn't generally offer anything that's made it only as far as the small screen.
